- Published in Naples in 1580, this facsimile contains magnificent illustrations representing the world as it was known at the time of the Discovery. Some of the first reproductions of maps of the New Continent are found within these pages. The original is kept in the Library of the Royal Palace of Madrid.

- "How the Indians of New SPain celebrated their feasts." Written in 1755, this is one of the Mexican codices that was saved from destruction. It contains 22 beautiful illustrations depicting scenes from Mexican mythology. The original is kept at the Library of the Royal Palace in Madrid.

Historia Rerum Ubique Gestarum

- This document written by Eneas Silvio Piccolomini (who was later to become Pope Pius II), was published in Venice in 1477. Historia Rerum is a compendium of all scientific and geographical knowledge of the period. This was the document that Christopher Columbus relied on in preparation for his voyages. The original document contains handwritten notes by Columbus himself, and is kept at the Columbus and Capitular Library in the Cathedral of Seville.

- The accompanying book of commentaries and transcription from Latin are by Professor Ramírez Verger of the University of Seville. Research and notes are provided by Professor Pérez de Tudela of the Complutense University, Madrid.

- This edition is truly a publishing event without parallel. A recently found manuscript whose existence, unlike its whereabouts, was already known. It contains seven still unpublished documents: five narrative letters and two personal letters sent to Ferdinand and Isabel, the Spanish Monarchs. The first is one of the oldest documents of American history, dated March 4, 1493 and noted, "written at sea." Within these letters Columbus' personal evaluation of his arrival in America is revealed. This facsimile publication is the only authorized edition. The original document is kept at the National Archive of the Indies in Seville.

- This edition is a reproduction of the logbook kept by a young Father Bartolomé de las Casas as he accompanied Columbus on his first voyage. The original is kept at the National Library of Madrid.

This study encompasses the last days of the great mariner's life from the return of his last voyage in 1504 to his death in Valladolid in 1506. This work analyzes not only the three great expeditions of the Admiral, but also all that is known about his possible illness and death. The original documents are kept in the Royal Academy of History in the Simancas National Records Office in Valladolid and the National Archive of the Indies in Seville.
