ABOUT THE JOURNAL
Latin American Literary Review is a scholarly journal devoted to the literature of Latin America and Brazil. It is published semiannually in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Since its appearance in the Fall of 1972, the magazine has been very well received, and has aroused national and international interest. It is directed by Dr. Yvette Miller, professor of Spanish.
Recognized by Library Journal as "a most important development for Latin American literature," Latin American Literary Review's purpose has been to provide the academic community with a firsthand interpretation of Latin American literature and culture through feature essays and reviews of recent literary works.
Bringing to its readers the most recent writing of some of the leading scholars and critics in the fields of Hispanic and Portuguese literature, the Latin American Literary Review is of interest to all libraries and institutions of higher learning, and especially to all departments of English, Modern Languages, Latin American Studies, and Comparative Literature.
You can order back issues of the Latin American Literary Review by emailing us the information as outlined on our order form. The Latin American Literary Review also sells Spanish Books, books that were published by 50 different publishers in Spain for the Quincentennial Anniversary of the discovery of the Americas, and Facsimiles, part of a rare collection of museum-quality, facsimile editions of some of history's most important documents.
